Strap-ons consist of two parts: the harness & the dong/dildo. Both are equally important in the shopping process. Here is a bit about the harness.

Harnesses
Like all adult toys, come in many different styles, materials and sizes. You should select a harness that is comfortable for you. If you are looking for leather, we suggest a soft leather harness. You need a material that is comfortable for you to wear. We suggest a harness that has adjustable straps. This will ease the purchasing hesitation.

One of the most popular lines of strap-on harnesses is the Ultra Series by Doc Johnson. The Ultra series strap-on harnesses have a unique dong locking system that makes changing your toy of choice a snap. The Ultra 2 is the basic harness that will allow you to strap-on any Vac-U-Lock compatible dong or dildo (we will get to these in a minute). This harness is designed for use on only one person, in other words it is not compatible with the double dong. This is a great starter harness and if that is you, the relatively low price makes this harness an attractive buy.

The Ultra 2000 and Ultra 3000 are the more “advanced” harnesses in the Vac-U-Lock series. They are crotchless and will support a “double-dong” attachment. These harnesses are of high quality and will support a few additional attachments. Is the price worth it? If you are just starting to explore strap-on sex – stick with the Corsette Harness or try the Jenna's Vac-U-Lock set. If you are a connoisseur, Dom or simply love hard core pleasure The Ultra series are harnesses for you.

Dongs & Dildos
Dongs and dildos vary in size, shape and color almost as much as the “models” that they are made from. Many dongs and dildos are cast from real life celebs. Dongs generally come with balls and dildos are without. If you are considering a strap-on that is not a Vac-U-Lock, make sure you get a dong since you will need the “balls” to help hold the dong to the harness. A few of the more popular ones are the Coffee Dong & the Soft Touch Penis. Depending on your preference, you might like the feel of the Jelly dong - the small suction cup base on this dong will not interfer with the harness.  Jelly dongs have a softer appeal to them. You will notice on many strap-on toys you will see a flat base that flat base is generally their tip to let you know this toy can be used with a strap-on. The flat base helps to fit snuggly into the strap-on and holds it in place.

Does size matter? You will hear a resounding YES! If you and your partner are beginners you may want to begin on the conservative side, such as the 5" realistic dong. For those more familiar with strap-ons the world is your oyster and we hope you enjoy.

If automatically correct dongs are not for you, try a blue or a pink dong. Some have curved tips, just to hit the right spot of pleasure. Make the selection on what feels pleasurable to you and your partner.

A quick word about lube and safety.. USE SOME. Since this is a plastic body part, there will be no natural oils, or lube. It is EXTREMEMLY critical that you go slowly during your exploration. Since you will not be able to feel resistance you should make sure your partner tells you what is going on and more importantly that you LISTEN. One way to help is to get a double dong attachment.
