We know we have heard it all…why would you? How can you achieve pleasure from there? That is an exit only. We realize many people feel and think this way, however there are those who enjoy intense pleasure from anal stimulation. For those thinking of adventuring or exploring anal sex we would like to offer a little guidance on you are playing with and what type of pleasure you should expect.
First, the anal region aka the anorectal region is still somewhat of a mystery to Western Science. It is not that we don't know how it works, we are just not sure of all the whys. Western social society has decided that the anus is just not a pleasant place so let's pretend it doesn't exist… you know the old saying – “If you don't look at it maybe it will go away”. They have no idea the amount of pleasure they are missing out on.
The rectal region is divided into three major groups of the large intestine: the anus, the rectum and the descending colon.
The anal canal opening is actually controlled by two sets of muscles, the internal and the external. While these rings are commonly thought of as one on the outside and one on the inside if you look at the anatomy book you will see that the rings overlap one another.
The external sphincter is the one you control when you are going to the bathroom. It is the opening that you flex when you have to go to the bathroom but can't. The internal sphincter is controlled by the autonomic nervous system – the system that controls your breathing and heartbeat. The internal sphincter is pretty much out of your control.
When the external muscle relaxes, the internal muscle automatically relaxes. This is a critical part of making anal play pleasurable. A tense anal muscle will not provide you with the pleasure many of us feel when exploring with anal sex.
The Rectum
The rectum is approximately 8 inches long and connects directly to the anal canal, which is about an inch long. These muscles can expand, contract and adapt to a large number of shapes and sizes. There are hundreds of nerve endings in the rectum and anal canal. Unlike the anal opening, the rectum and anal canals respond more to pressure like the vaginal cavity. The rectum and anal canal are not as “surface-sensitive” as the anal opening. Applying slight pressure to this area provides for pleasurable stimulation.
The Prostate Gland (males only)
This is the golden key to the best orgasm of your life. This little gland is what produces the whitish fluid that you see in your ejaculation. That fluid protects your sperm and allows them to swim. When you have an orgasm, this glad “pumps” in response to your orgasm and pushed the fluid into the track that leads to the tip of your penis (the urethra).
The prostate can be located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. It should feel like a lump the size of a walnut and the texture similar to a muscle. This gland is VERY sensitive to stimulation and can only be reached through the rectum. The gland will swell during arousal and has a tremendous impact on your orgasm if rubbed during the heights of pleasure.
The G-Spot (females only)
As with the men, this is the key to the golden heaven of orgasms. Upon G-Spot stimulation many women ejaculate immediately. The anal cavity and the vaginal cavity share the same wall. G-Spot stimulation is very easy to achieve using anal entry. Some women who have trouble finding their G-Spot through the vaginal cavity can find it easily through the anal cavity.
Double entry is also a pleasurable experience among some women. The feeling of being completely full is quite arousing. A couple of safety notes; A toy that is placed into the anal cavity should NEVER be used in the vaginal cavity unless washed. Good double anal toys will have a bulb in the middle to keep the anal secretions away from the vaginal area. Also, never use oil based lubes in the vaginal cavity. While some may prefer the extra slick feeling of the oil-based lubes, the vaginal cavity does not flush itself out like the anal cavity. The residual oils are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
As you can see the anal region is not all the complicated. With a little tender loving care and the right knowledge, using the anus as a new source of sexual pleasure can have many rewards.
